Marine Web Services to Host Workshop for Maryland Dealers
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, July 2001 - 23--Marine Web Services, a division of Trader Publishing Company, is proud to announce their first-annual G.O.L.F (Get On-Line Faster) Workshop for Maryland boat dealers. Professionals from search engine giant Google, Inc. and renowned marine industry experts are slated to present at the educational workshop luncheon on August 28, 2001 - 23, at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis, Maryland.
The content of the workshop is just as attention getting as the catchy title. Leading marine industry experts will present on how to leverage an effective, lead-generating website, with an extended live demo of dealers who are doing it right, and how they are successful. The importance of an online presence will also be conveyed because of the continual growth in consumer activity on the Internet.
"With over 170 million consumers using the Internet, it is imperative that dealers learn how to maximize their exposure online," says Danielle Kerner, General Manager of Marine Web Services. "This workshop will inform dealers as to what is of utmost importance in getting consumers to their site, which ultimately translates to sales."
Not only will the benefits of proper website creation and management be presented, but the consequences of ineffectively promoting a dealer's website will be discussed. A key component of positioning a website appropriately is Search Engine Marketing, a Marine Web Services feature that Google's Vertical Specialist Adrian Madland will present. He will walk dealers through an informative presentation on the importance of search engine marketing.
"The bottom line is that if a dealer's website isn't optimized with search engines, they are missing out on many potential online leads," Kerner says. "Search engine leads convert to sales at an average of 40-50 percent more often than other methods, so by optimizing and having a robust lead management service, more dealers can increase their revenue while enhancing customer retention."
Marine Web Services is dedicated to expanding marine dealers' online presence with a powerful lead generation system, an extensive data distribution network, search engine optimization, and an industry-leading reporting system. This workshop is geared toward educating dealers about the importance of having online visibility, which leads to maximum Internet exposure and sales.
Reinforcing the G.O.L.F. theme, giveaways and raffles at the workshop include golf outings, equipment, and apparel, courtesy of Marine Web Services. Lunch will also be served at the Loews Hotel, with the workshop scheduled for an 11 a.m. start on August 28.
